Paul A Coston, JR, C.P.A./P.F.S., M.S.T., C.L.U., C.H.F.C., C.F.P.

Paul Coston, Member and co-founder, established the firm with M.J. McIsaac in 2001 following nineteen years of prior public accounting experience. In addition to his management role, Paul is the firm's authority on financial planning and can often be found engaged in research.

Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

Paul earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maine at Machias in 1978 and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College in 1989. Paul recently added CFP (Certified Financial Planner) to the string of letters after his name.

M.J. McIsaac, C.P.A./P.F.S.

M.J. McIsaac, Member and co-founder, established the firm with Paul Coston in January of 2001. M.J. had also co-founded Coston and McIsaac, CPA's with Paul Coston in 1987. M.J. has clients from a wide variety of coastal Maine activities.He truly enjoys all aspects of financial planning. 

M.J. is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Trustee of the MDI YMCA and past Treasurer and Director of the MDI YMCA Board of Directors. He attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 1975 with a degree in Political Science.

Kevin R. Buza, C.P.A.

Kevin Buza joined the firm in 2003 as an investment adviser representative. Kevin is a strong believer in Modern Portfolio Theory, tempered somewhat by Behavioral Finance. In addition to directly serving clients, Kevin also acts as the firm's webmaster and occasionally finds time to work on his book: Passive Investing: Getting Excited about doing (almost) Nothing (definitely a work in progress -- much of the white space in unfinished chapters is actually text in a white font color).

Kevin is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Pensacola Christian College in 1990 with a minor in accounting.

Kevin is actively pursuing Financial Peace. As part of this effort, he has launched a part-time computer consulting endeavor: Banj Computer Services. Also, Kevin's wife operates Living Word Dyed. Find Kevin on LinkedIn.

Kevin and his wife Barbara (artist, nurse and mother) have three daughters and attend church at Ellsworth Assembly of God.

Patricia Pottle, C.P.A.

Tricia joined the firm in 2007 as an investment adviser representative. She is a graduate of Husson College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She became a CPA in 1994. Her family is from and still lives in Brownville Junction, Maine, but she now resides in Surry with her husband Kevin. Her prior experience includes 15 years in public accounting and 8 years working in financial management for private industry.

Tricia is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

Ron Wrobel, C.P.A.

Ron joined the firm in the summer of 2008 and has been a CPA since 1988. Prior to joining the firm, Ron was Chief Financial Officer of The First National Bank of Bar Harbor for five years and before that worked at KPMG Peat Marwick in Portland, Maine for six years on the audit staff and as an audit manager. Ron has a Masters in Accountancy degree from Bowling Green State University, Bachelors degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and is a member of the Maine Society of CPA's.

In addition to providing personal and business tax preparation and planning services, Ron has significant experience working with borrowers at the Bank, including credit analysis and troubled loan situations requiring cash flow, budgeting and debt structuring preparation as well as internal control assessment and implementation. In Ron's first year with the firm, he has been active assisting clients with Offers In Compromise with the IRS.

Ron lives in Bar Harbor with his wife Rena and has two grown sons. Ron is an active member of the Bar Harbor Rotary Club as a past President and current Treasurer. Ron is also an active member of the MDI YMCA serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Gary Lloyd

Gary acts as the company's Compliance Officer and provides almost all of the firm's back office support.
