Lee Pittle, CPA, MBA passed away suddenly on August 17, 2003 as a result of complications arising from his bicycle accident two weeks earlier.

Lee's obituary:

Lee E. Pittle, 56, died Aug. 17, 2003, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1947, in Washington, D.C., the son of Robert Maurice and Beverly Selma (Shapiro) Pittle.
He is survived by Judi Lee Anderson of Bar Harbor; one daughter, Connie Pesavento and husband, James, of Colorado Springs; two sisters, Sharie Blum and husband, Alan, of Baltimore, Md., and Marcia Newfeld and husband, Peter, of Frederick, Md.; two grandchildren, Zachary and Kaley Sayer; one brother-in-law, Dale Anderson of Casper, Wyo.; mother-in-law, Martha Jane Maes of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one niece; three nephews; one great-niece; three great-nephews and many cousins.
A celebration of Lee's life will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, outside at Fernald Furneral Chapel, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert, with the Rev. Douglas Hare officiating. The family request that no flowers be sent. Contributions in Lee's memory may be made to the Ellsworth Rotary Club, P.O. Box 741, Ellsworth, ME 04605.
