Paul
A Coston, JR, CPA/PFS, MST, CLU, CHFC, CFP
Paul Coston, President and co-founder, established the firm with M.J. McIsaac in 1987
following five years of prior public accounting experience. In addition to his management role, Paul is the
firm's authority on estate planning and certain income tax technical matters.
Paul is also licensed as an investment adviser
representative.
Paul is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Paul earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maine
at Machias in 1978
and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College in 1989.
M.J. McIsaac, CPA/PFS
M.J. McIsaac, Vice-President and managing shareholder, established the firm with Paul Coston in
June of 1987. Prior to that M.J. worked several years at Bar Harbor Banking
& Trust Company in the loan department and six years as business
manager/carpenter of a local building contracting firm. During all of these
years M.J. was moonlighting doing payrolls and income tax returns.
M.J. has clients from a wide variety of coastal Maine activities. They
include individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, estates
and trusts, and limited liability companies. He truly enjoys all aspects of
financial planning. M.J. is also licensed as an investment adviser
representative.
M.J. is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a
Trustee of the MDI YMCA, past Treasurer and Director of the MDI YMCA
Board of Directors, and is an active board member of the Jesup Memorial
Library. He attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst
and graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 1975 with a degree in
Political Science.
Kevin R. Buza, CPA
Kevin Buza joined the firm in 2000 following six years of prior public accounting
experience. His prior experience includes five-and-a-half years with Laurie A. Cramer, CPA
in Machias, Maine specializing in audit, review and compilation services (especially for local governmental
units and not-for-profit organizations). In addition to directly serving clients, Kevin
also acts as the firm's quality control director, financial statement
technical reviewer and webmaster. Kevin is also licensed as an investment adviser
representative.
Kevin is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Pensacola Christian College
in 1990 with a minor in accounting.
Kevin is actively pursuing Financial
Peace. As part of this effort, he has launched a part-time computer
consulting endeavor: Banj Computer
Services. Also, Kevin's wife operates Living

Kevin and his wife Barbara (artist, nurse and mother) have three
daughters and attend church at Ellsworth
Assembly of God.
Melinda M. Hamblen, CPA, MBA
Melinda joined the firm in October of 2003. She is a native of Deer Isle
and has tremendous appreciation for the coastal communities of Maine. Her
prior experience includes 5 years in public accounting and 7 years working
in financial management for private industry.
Melinda is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants
and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Melinda earned her Bachelors degree and her Masters of Business degree
from the University of Maine, Orono. She received her MBA in 1992 and became
a CPA in 1996.
Jonathan Boucher, EA
Jonathan Boucher joined the firm in 1991. For three years he managed the
firm's payroll service. Since then he has performed a variety of duties
including tax return preparation, general and payroll accounting, and
financial statement preparation. He specializes in QuickBooks consulting.
Jonathan is active in a number of community based activities and organizations
including serving in a local church.
Jonathan earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the
University of Maine in 1993.
Jonathan was granted the Enrolled Agent designation by the Internal Revenue Service in 2006 after passing a rigorous examination.
Patricia Pottle, CPA
Tricia joined the firm in January of 2007. She is a graduate of Husson
College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She became a CPA in 1994.
Her family is from and still lives in Brownville Junction, Maine, but she
now resides in Surry with her husband Kevin. Her prior experience includes
15 years in public accounting and 8 years working in financial management
for private industry.
Tricia is a member of the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants
and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also
licensed as an investment
adviser representative.
Ron Wrobel, CPA
Ron joined the firm in the summer of 2008 and has been a CPA since 1988.
Prior to joining the firm, Ron was Chief Financial Officer of The First
National Bank of Bar Harbor for five years and before that worked at KPMG
Peat Marwick in Portland, Maine for six years on the audit staff and as an
audit manager. Ron has a Masters in Accountancy degree from Bowling Green
State University, Bachelors degree from the University of Maine at Presque
Isle, and is a member of the Maine Society of CPA's.
In addition to providing personal and business tax preparation and
planning services, Ron has significant experience working with borrowers at
the Bank, including credit analysis and troubled loan situations requiring
cash flow, budgeting and debt structuring preparation as well as internal
control assessment and implementation. In Ron's first year with the firm, he
has been active assisting clients with Offers In Compromise with the IRS.
Ron lives in Bar Harbor with his wife Rena and has two grown sons. Ron is
an active member of the Bar Harbor Rotary Club as a past President and
current Treasurer. Ron is also an active member of the MDI YMCA serving as
Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

adviser representative.
Trish Howard
Trish Howard joined the firm in 1996 following thirteen years of prior experience in
finance. Her prior experience includes working in the Bar Harbor Banking & Trust
Company loan department.
Trish is a wife and proud mother of two and is active in the Trenton Parent-Teacher
Committee and Ladies Auxiliary.
Trish has a strong commitment to customer service and will greet you at the door or
over the telephone with a smile and willingness to serve.
Susan Richardson
Susan Richardson joined the firm in 2002
providing extra help during income tax season. Susan has taken 2
sections of the CPA exam and is awaiting her grades on those sections, she hopes to complete the process in 2007.
